Capital of Sciences

Capital of Sciences was a science festival that brought research institutes, universities, companies and young researchers together with the public. Our team organised it from its first edition in 2017 to its online edition in 2020.

The brief

Make science, technology, engineering and mathematics tangible for families, students and anyone curious, and give the research community a shared public stage.

Our team's contribution

Concept and programme, exhibitor and speaker coordination, venue production, communications, media relations and the digital campaign for each edition. In 2020 the team moved the festival online, with two live streams, recorded talks and VR films from partner organisations.

What the project demonstrates

A public event about research works when every exhibitor offers something to try, see or ask, and when the communications reach families as well as the research community.
